It was a 5 hour drive from Penn state to washington DC. 5 busses filled with international students took part in that trip. We checked out the white house, the capital, and all the important monuments. It was worth the time. Our petronas advisor from Washington picked us up and took us for malaysian lunch at his place. Man it was the best food ever, malaysian style. We took a drive to a factory outlet in Virginia. It was huge with all the best brands you can ever dream of. Nike, Adidas, Tommy, Levis, Bum.... and the list goes on. The stuff there was pretty reasoanable and got an original Levis jeans for 30 dollars. By the time we got back to Penn State, it was past mid night. |
